My Favorite Meal: Take-out would be pizza. Homemade would be roast beef with red cabbage and mashed potatoes.
My Favorite Recipe: So many. I’m always on the hunt for the “next best” recipe. Though, I have five recipes that I make over and over again, year after year. My apple pie, my pumpkin pie, my pumpkin bread, my blueberry bread and my double chocolate crescent cookies. Twenty years and I haven’t found recipes that top these five.
My Favorite Cookbook: That’s like asking a mother which is her favorite child. Though, my first cookbook will always have a special place in my heart.
Favorite Color: Hmm. I really don’t have one. It depends on the day I guess.
The Camera I shoot with: Nikon Coolpix – brand-spanking new & my first digital camera. Remember my disclaimer in my “About” section – I’m not a professional so it might be a good thing to lower your expectations right off. 🙂

Favorite TV Show: Okay, for cooking it’s the Barefoot Contessa and Giada DeLaurentis. My other fave show is NCIS. Late to the game with this one, but fell instantly in love when I discovered it.
Favorite Kitchen Appliance: It’s a tie. My Kitchen Aid Stand mixer and my Sub-Zero refrigerator.
Hobbies: I’ve tried knitting, stitching, quilting, gardening – all the pre-requisites for living in Connecticut, the land of Martha Stewart. I didn’t excel at any of them. So I packed up my needles, skeins of yarns and fabric and embraced exercising (yes, it’s a passion of mine and no, I’m not nuts) and shopping when I’m not in the kitchen.
